The rumors were flying that this would be the weekend that major model Lara Stone would marry U.K. comic David Williams, and the event did go down at the Claridge Hotel in England yesterday. On this page is an image of Lara the day before, on her way to attend a Chelsea soccer match. There are no images of her dress yet, but the internets are saying she wore Givenchy.  The dress is said to be “a hugely romantic, layered lace design with thousands of tiny beads,” according to the DailyMail.

Boxing Kitten, whose designs have been worn by Rihanna, Beyonce and Fergie, showed its resort 2010 collection last night on the SoHo rooftop. Designed by Brooklyn-born Maya Lake, the line is fun and sunny and right in step with the tribal revival that fashion is in the midst of. On the next page, get a closer look at the print shoes, which are a collaboration between Boxing Kitten and Osborn, plus images of  the designer–she’s wearing a brown chiffon dress, and some of the stylish guests that attended. (And take a closer look at the model in the cropped top and shorts, yep, that’s Naima Mora, the winner of ANTM, cycle 4! UPDATE: Nope, I’m told it’s actually her twin sister Mora; however, Naima IS in the lookbook. Phew!)

Women who can pull off Alaïa have always made me a little envious. Sophisticated, mature, womanly….qualities I couldn’t pull off if my life depended on it! And this pair of peep-toe ankle boots pretty much epitomizes that deeply feminine allure, which has made the brand oh-so-special all these years, building an appeal with an impressive list of females that include the likes of Grace Jones, Madonna, Naomi Campbell and Carine Roitfeld.

We featured Sorel’s fall lookbook last week but wanted to put a little added shine on this “Joan of Artic Reserve,” boot. It’s a limited edition style, which will sell at select retailers. Priced at $400, it features hair-on leather with a plush cuff and Swarovski crystals on the eyelets.

RogerSmith life put together a  series of video for the pop-up shop they hosted for Gail Travis’ N:F:Pline. The Style N8 a convertible shrug is one of my favorites as it combined the coziness of a sweater  with the versatility of removable sleeves. The fabric is unbelievably soft! Available at NFPonline.

Model Agyness Deyn out and about working the ’80s punk look hard, with her cropped leather jacket, skinny black jeans and oxblood Doc Martens. She even has a tiger print umbrella to add more reference to the decade. And how cute is her puppy??
