London-based accessory designer Anita Quansah recently uploaded some new pics to her Flickr account, including this jacket, reworked from a dress worn by her Mom in the ’60s.  Check out more images on the next page of a couple of outsized, very down-to-earth necklaces, upon which she has built her name.

The celebs and celebutantes were out in full force for the opening of a Louis Vuitton on Bond Street in London yesterday. And boy-oh-boy were folks DRESSED! Lots of short dresses and high heels, but nothing too outrageous or cutting edge. Love her dress and overall look, which speaks to my secret love affair with Russian style….slightly over the top and flashy yet still chic.

What was announced  earlier this year is actually happenning,  giant  J.Crew retails their apparel on Net-a-Porter, an interesting venture when you think of the size of J.Crew and the fact that they probably have the capability of going international on their own. Then again very few can rival the cache of the illustrious Net-a-Porter.
