Given Malcolm McClaren’s recent passing, there’s something fitting about these recently-launched winged sandals designed by Malcolm’s old pal Vivienne Westwood, in collaboration with Melissa. Perhaps Malcolm flew to heaven in these. Available at Patricia Field.

these are not recently released, didn’t these come out like last fall or something ?

They were shown on Viv’s runway in the fall, which in all honesty I didn’t realize until I checked just now. They are now showing up at retail, which is where I spotted them. Fashion is vast and we miss a LOT, makes mistakes, etc. And then then sometimes we repeat on purpose because the runway is one news event and what the item does at retail is another. Still and all, we appreciate your reading us and pointing out that the item isn’t new-new. We can’t cover all the bases by ourselves.
