The year was 1996 it was about silver jewellery, dark lipstick , square toe shoes with a platform and Lauryn Hill was getting ready to become a fashion darling .”Ready or Not” was playing at every “cool” store in the mall: Contempo Casuals, G+G, Wet Seal… In NYC, it was all about Antique Boutique and Canal Jeans.
