Sisters, twins and Pisces Natalie and Nicole Albino of Nina Sky fame, celebrated their birthdays last night at the R Bar in Manhattan. Love the adorable pixie hair cuts! Happy b-day, women!

The partnership with Indian designer Aki Narula and Puma was announced in June of last year (very smart move on Puma’s part to give a nod to India and its growing middle class) and now we’re getting a closer look at the products, which aren’t on-line yet but should be soon (though if you like the Kenhinde Wiley X Puma looks we featured a while back, those are now on sale). Love the shoes, especially the ones on the left. The curve on that stacked heel is just so flavorful and  speaks to the Indian roots of the designer.

Newly launched Arrondissment Aq1 by Berlin based  Christina Arend “is a mix of Casual, Evening, graphic straightness and special details”. The accessories collection caught my eye with her use of chains, hardware and  a novelty of shapes that make the handbags look fresh. While I  cannot remember the last time I  wore denim a skirt, Levis puts together a grown and sexy  pencil skirt in white denim. There’s a flashy new fashion site called Styleite, and what better way to launch it with a list that’s sure to stir up controversy and hurt feelings. The “Power Grid” ranks 1,500 key players in the fashion industry and divides them into categories (three of which are featured in the image above). The rankings are based on 10 metrics,  four that are Google-based. Which could explain perhaps why Naomi is ranked over Kate in the model category–in that another beatdown controversy may not count as a modeling gig, but it sure gets a lot of miles in Google news coverage.
