Like I was saying before, there’s no comparing attending a show versus watching it online. You see the trends attendees are wearing, which, fur, fur and more fur–and it was worn despite the rain/snow, you discuss your impressions of the show itself and you see things that just don’t show up on one-dimensional videos. My partner, Samia, snagged the utlimate show chat partner in that she was seated to none other than Miss Jay! And yes, he’s at least as much of a hoot in real life as he is on “America’s Next Top Model.”  When I showed him the image above, he snapped back, “I look 11-years old,” which, lol, can’t argue with that!

When it comes to clogs, as much as I  love a super high heel I always wonder about the perils of twisting your ankle, a misfortune I  have endured one too many times. I  just spotted the  Abbie clogs by Uggs and I wonder if this is one rare opportunity where lower might just be better as oppose to Chanel’s ss 2010 version ? I’m at Magic in Vegas so I’m going to keep this short, but loved these glowy shoes Rodarte showed at NY Fashion Week. They’re futuristic, but somehow still warm and fuzzy, just like Rodarte! Maybe post-apocalypse won’t be so bad after all.

To what was an amazing musical beat  Bumsuk Choipresented his General Idea  Autumn/ Winter 2010 collection. Yes it’s a men’s label but if you’re a woman who appreciates men’s fashion  like yours truly you can see the sleek androgynous flair of this label. Well tailored jackets , slouchy sweaters, harem pants, cool tiger print boots and much more. Not only does general Idea  make of some of the coolest menswear but the show also brings a very eclectic stylish crowd that can bring out the inner Tommy Ton in all of us. I happily got  a glimpse of   the illustrious Bill Cunningham on his bicycle heading to his next destination. On a side note When is Bill Cunningham getting a fashion book deal? A glimpse of Bumsuk Choi’s General Idea on the flip.

There truely is not a look that Gwen Stefani can’t pull off to perfection, from kicks to heels, she has the equivalent fashion range of a great actor or singer. Still, my sentimental favorite style and the one I think she rocks best is her Cholo/Ska/Cali-girl streetwear look, which, one could argue, she does so well because she originated it! Here she is out shopping in a plaid button up, boyfriend jeans layered over grey sweats, all of which is girlified by a pair of very-of-the-moment, nude-colored sandals.

From the looks of the front row for Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 show, Marc kept good on his promise to de-celebritize his show. Doesn’t mean, however, mean that there weren’t plenty of the industry’s heaviest hittest there. Above we see Marc’s Brazilian bombshell boyfriend (whose interview in BUTT magazine is making him infamous if not famous), Lorenzo Martone, Vogue’s behind-the-scenes genius, Grace Coddington and the father of street photography, Bill Cunningham.

After the flip, Bergdorf Goodman buyer, Roopal Patel, in an amazing blouse and Tavi Gevinson, the 13-year old blogger that’s infuriating the fashion world. Plus, the head designer in charge doing a pretty good version of himself as Tom Ford.
