244 RICHARD BURBRIDGE2 V Magazine March Issue: Crystal Renn Advance Image

In the upcoming March issue of V magazine, No. 64, plus-sized model Crystal Renn is making her second editorial apperance in the magazine (first time was in issue No. 63 in the mag’s first-ever size-related issue). In the image shown here, she appears as a Spanish flamenco dancer, alongside the 15-year-old winner of the V A Model Search, Emma Dumont, and VMAN Ford Model Search winner Rico Nieves, shot by Richard Burbridge and styled by Robbie Spencer. The photos are gorgeous, but this whole “plus-sized” thing I just do not get.

JakJillrodartekirkwood3 Rodarte X Nicholas Kirkwood Shoes Fall 2010

We posted up images of glowy shoes, featured in the Rodarte runway show. Today Tommy Ton posted these on his Jak & Jil blog. They’re not glowing in this image, but they are obviously the same shoes featured in the show. And now that I can see them shot in the light, they’re clearly not just glowy, but also melty!

One more in a lilac colorway after the flip.

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010: The Shoes!

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010: The Shoes!

Those Burberry coats that I love oh so much were mostly worn overy filmy, body-loving dresses, paired with over-the-knee snakeskin boots. They were perfect, but the ones we will see over and over in editorial shoots will be the boots featured here. Editors already have had their fill with over the knee and the sheepskin lining combined with the strappy buckles are just the sort of look they can evision themselves being photographed in while taking the walk form the limo to the front row.

All images Style. Those over-the-knee boots and some handbags, plus a close-up on an extra-extra lace blouse after the flip.

Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010: The Coats!!!!!!!!!!

BurCoatFront Burberry Prorsum Fall 2010: The Coats!!!!!!!!!!

Earlier this morning Samia posted up images from the 3-D New York presentation of Burberry’s Fall 2010 collection we attended, and between now and the end of the day, don’t mind me if every thing I post is Burberry-related. The collection was that good. Seriously. The outerwear was my favorte part of the show and the brand gets big props for capitalizing on the excitement shows generate by taking the innovative step of making the collection available for purchase on its site through February 26th. Look at that, the company itself benefiting by showing its goods six months in advance rather than the copiers–perhaps there’s hope for the fashion industry after all!

Many more images–all from Style–of the coats after the flip.

Clothes and accessories mean different things to women, nonetheless it’s always shown as being an expression of who of you are or trying to convey to the world. Raise your hand if you’ve been there.   Available at net-a-porter. More images on the next page.

TokShadow2 540x405 Tokidoki at Magic: Sephora Collabo!

As always I stopped by Magic’s Pool show to check in with one of my industry faves, Tokidoki Designer, Simone Legno. He had a lot going on but was most excited about an upcoming collaboration with Sephora on a comsmetics line, which will feature a huge array of eye liners, eye shadows, bronzers and brushes. The colors are amazing, as you can see from some of the very uniquely packaged eye shadows featured above.

More eye shadow, packaged in a lucite box with a Tokidoki toy, plus bronzer after the flip.

WoolBomberMagic Woolrich at Magic: Capsule Collection

When it comes to authenticity and heritage, not too many brands have it over the 180-year old Woolrich. I’ve had this eye on this brand for a while so how delightful was it to see it’s offering a capsule collection collection for women, featuring the brand’s signature classic looks spruced up with jazzy cuts and fur trims. In celebration of its anniversary, there will be  a total of 180 pieces manufactured and only 60 will be sold in the United. No word yet on where they will retail.

More pieces from the collection after the flip.
