Grammy Fashion: Beyonce, Rihanna, etc.

GramBeyonceClose Grammy Fashion: Beyonce, Rihanna, etc.

Beyonce’s three looks (arrival: Stephane Rolland; performance: Versace and audience: Georgio Armani) weren’t my favorites, I actually liked Ciara (Givency with diamonds by Cartier) best, but I did like this image of Bee for her earrings and of course her great manicure. And then, too, the tattoo intriques. What does it read, anyone know?

Overall, there was more fashion eye candy than at the Golden Glodes, which makes sense given it’s a music crowd, but still, I still feel like celebs are playing it safe and it would be nice if they could bring a little more of their performance personalities onto the red carpet.

After the flip, some of the looks I liked the most, on Adrienne Lau, Beyonce, Ciara, Fergie, Jennifer Lopez (Versace), Katy Perry (Zac Posen) and Rihanna (Elie Saab). I thought Taylor Hick’s [Upate: Swift not Hicks!] dress was actually quite beautiful, but I’m still bitter over her being paired to perform with Stevie Nicks, whose level Swift will never come close to approaching, and her winning the best album so I left her out. Who did you guys like?

GramLadyGaGa2 Lady Gaga at Grammy Awards

Performers at the show had three outfits: arrival (above), performance and what each one wore while sitting in the audience. Lady Gaga delivered each time with amazing get-ups, which were a collaborative effort with Georgio Armani. I’m going back and forth on whether I want to comment on Taylor Swift getting the “Album of the Year” award over her, but I’m going to keep my mouth shut for now. Any thoughts from you guys?

LanvinMacrame2. Lanvin Macrame Sandals

Macrame is going to be a big trend this Spring and with this pair of sandals Lanvin sets the bar for dressy versions. The profile is basic, playing backdrop to an amped out upper that includes jewel details! Also, love the island-color theme on the straps. Avaialbe at Kirnazabete in coral, too.
