Paisley inspired prints mixed with desert hued pieces make for a collection  that illustrates the designers aesthetic while still  keeping an  open door for the wearer’s  own interpretation. For summer 2010 , Dana Arbib and Farah Malik’s A peace Treaty ‘ Behna ‘( Ancient Indian community know for cotton carding) collection, takes us on an ethereal journey with featherweight romantic   sheer silk wraps adorned with subtle metallic accents. As usual the label keeps their commitment to craftsmanship with an entirely handmade and hand dyed collection by   artisans in India. Using fashion as an” instrument to express one’s  feelings” , Esther Perbandt’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection  aptly titled ‘Instrumental’ expresses the duality of harmony and chaos, through her signature use of black contrasted by bleaching , strong reds and ivory. ‘Instrumental’ also  features  Perbandt’s continual expansion into  accessories with handbags, and bracelets. The cork print (above) stands out as our favorite! If there ever was a lingerie line that deserved the term ‘Fine Lingerie” it would be Carine Gilson’s Lingerie Couture. The ‘Venise’ Collection from her summer 2010 collection  , made mostly of lace and silk is simply exquisite.
