As much as I love that Warhol, Basquiat and now Keith Haring’s work is being used in fashion and streetwear ,I would also so love to see more variety in the type of artists,  and of course women artists . Styling is one of those beautiful gems  in fashion that can transform apparel or footwear that could otherwise be overlooked , as simply fantastic. Looking at the Eley Kishimoto Footwear for Spring 2010 , I was pleased by what I saw but was not completely won over until I took a second look at the runway and their presentation with heather grey socks. Not that I strongly advocate sandals and socks but, the styling took the shoes from colorful and ordinary to colorful and somewhat unique slightly off-kilter in a good unexpected way.
