you click her blog and she basically embarrasses herself. You can’t praise her for wearing a yankees hat when it’s not even the yankees she’s passionate about. She doesn’t understand a thing about baseball.

I used to digg her blog but now not so much, it’s not a refreshing view on fashion anymore, it’s more a who’s who catalog like oh look my famous girlfriend that is photographed a thousand times in Vogue … well I aim to be very original so I take her pic too…
she is a fantastic illutrator but for the rest of her blog she began to stink badly lately!

But yours truly just like Garance knows very little about baseball but has a great appreciation for the Iconic staus the hat and the logo has. It’s Quintessential NYC ! Don’t you think?
I concur the second comment, I met her in person and I can say that the photos of her are very flattering… and besides she is not so nice, a bit full of herself and althought not really warm and friendly as people like to picture her.
I don’t question her work at all because she is good at it… but not fantastic either.
I used to like her too, but since I met her not so much! she is juste the flavor of the month…
She’s also an adulterer! She had an affair with a married man and she’s still running around with him (Scott Schuman).

It really pains me that this is the best way you find to express your opinion about something very simple A HAT . Leave it to women to gang up on another woman , when on a men’s FaShion site such comments would never even exist…

I totally understand that you were just talking about a HAT,I didn’t ganged up on her with expressing my opinion…maybe in a slighly rude way, but still an opinion on the subject in the pic.
You are right about something women are really catty to each other… exactly as she was with Christa Schuman.
I don’t particularly enjoy her blog, there are better bloggers with better sketches out there , I perfectly understant that you do and I totally respect that, but as your are entitled to let your enjoyment of her work getting in the way of appreciating her as a human being you can understand that some people can be appalled by her ” work”because they can’t help but let her not so classy personal moves interfere with it! I am in that case.
I am actually working in the industry and a lot of people feel that way about her: It’s not the fact that Scott Schuman left her wife for her, it’s more the ” in your face” following exposure that really lacks of class , so when you choose to combine publicly your work and your love life, make sure that you can take criticism of the two combined too.
If you don’t particularly enjoy her blog, why do you waste your time taking a look at it? What a clique of hypocrites! Putting somebody down seems to make you feel better about your poor selves… In regards to the affair, do you know why Scott left his wife? Were you present when it happened? Remember ladies, karma can bite you when you least expect it. Now, please live your lives and leave others in peace!
