Call it futuristic or space age, one of the the highlights of Acne’s Spring Summer 2010  collection is the metal knee padded pants  that of course brings nostalgic thoughts of our departed Michael Jackson. With firm grasp of apparel that is  wearable and modern here is a sneak peek into what Jeffrey Chow  he will have in store for Poleci in spring 2010. Some of our favorites are of course a metallic jumpsuit, and a carrot shape pant that provides a more wearable option to the loved/hated harem style. For the Autumn/Winter 2009 season , Fila  launches a ‘Heritage’ collection marking a return to their roots in the sport of  Tennis and their trademark colors of red white and blue, giving  a fun old school Olympic vibe to the collection comprising of men’s and women’s styles. Riccardo Goti of Goti Jewellery makes the kind of jewely with a midieval inspiration that gives the pieces a  worn, vintage  and romantic quality, the feather bracelet above is just a nice piece to have. Detailed images on the next page available at farfetch.

Taking their easthetic and inspiration into their own hands the Oak NYC collection launches today with an assortment of  covetable pieces  that rival  alot of the cult/edgy downtown labels  we love. On the next page a few of my favorite pieces from the Oak Women’s  Collection.

Probably  one of the the most striking  gloves creations I’ve seen this week, The leather gloves  by London based Dominic Jones  attached with  gold nails. Pratical or not some things are just Fierce! More images on the next page. Spotted on UO.

I will not lie to you and say that I loove the fall season. Yes there’s a certain romance about the falling leaves, the crisp wind and the approach of christmas , but to be honest the most exciting  thing about the fall season is to me  all the  fabulous dark clothing  like Camilla Staerk’ s Autumn/Winter 2009 collection for Staerk  where every single piece is a winner.

To remediate to the  the changing marketplace and economy Givenchy will launch a secondary line called Givenchy Redux which will comprise of some of their  signature blouses, studded leather jackets, pants and footwear. Available twice a year the Redux collection will premier in October 2009, with prices starting around 200 Euros roughly 290 USD. Not bad at all! Via VF.

Luke Satoru creates a men’s focused collection of jewelry and accessories that set him apart not only as a craftsman but also as an artist. The boldness of his pieces is well balanced by the refinement of their finishing and the fact that they are incredibly lightweight making the pieces very suitable for the ladies who can wear bold pieces. The 2 and 3 finger rings (above) totally won me over. On the next page a few of my  fave pieces from Luke Satoru, a name we can guaranty has just begin to make its mark.
