Asics just passed along images from its second collabo with Sanrio’s Hello Kitty. The shoes are fly directly in the face of current sneaker trends toward toned down colors and graphics, which is great news for Hello Kitty fans, who have never been shy about putting their cuteness on blast. The shoes will be available Nov. 1 at Sanrio’s on-line store, and Sanrio stores in New York City, San Francisco and Hawaii.

In their third collection, the duo behind  Denimfactoria  Claudia Olmeda and Maribel lopez continue their foray into creating   denim collections that are fun, very versatile with great noteworthy details that make them stand out in the ’sea of denim’ saturation’ : The Zip Jean with working zippers that go up the waist!(above) The Hotel Jean reminiscent of the 70’s with a leather or denim star and an unfinished hem, The Foxtrot jean inspired by tuxedo pants, A boyfriend jean with ripped knees and lots of safety pins in different color and sizes that hold them together,The Gala skirt with a high waist and a very flouncy silhouette, and the beloved Charlie with its extra wide cuffs makes a comeback. Meant to be owned as a pair, the Dior Joaillerie ‘ Kings & Queens’ collection by Victoire de Castellane, renders me speecheless by the intricate details they feature. Opal, Jade,Quartz, Obsidian… All sculpted  as skeleton heads as a reminder of fleeting  time and the necessity to enjoy everyday. “As we are temporary  the jewels we wear last through time and centuries”.via Vogue france. Taking inpiration from their trademark handbags and luggage these new Prada jeans feature either leather or nylon as front panels. Although they look like men’s styles the combination is interesting. Kind of 90’s . Available in black or blue denim. via neo2. Nylon style on the next page.

As  we featured the Starstyling Spring/Summer 2010 collection earlier , here is a closer look at the footwear of the show made in collaboration with Scholl footwear ( Dr. Scholl’s in the US) The custom sandals  feature a tape bottom that reads ’starstyling sucks’ and a heel made out of a roll of thread, Not available for sale , none of the models fell  while sporting these creations! Given the repeated occurence we figured you might just want to know that. More images of Starstyling and Scholl footwear on the next page.

Part of the the Cneeon Spring’09 collection titled ‘Sunday Taste’ this jumper with the label’s custom designed print is one of my favorite pieces, making a clear statement of ease and edginess at the same time. Although I think a thicker belt , would be more appropriate, take a closer look  at the details on the next page . Always two steps ahead of the game Bijules gives us a peak into her inspiration for Spring 2010 with the introduction of a tee presenting Tecumseh, a general in the War of 1812, Native American tribal leader and a western influencer amongst his peoples, sporting a septum piercing. Only 25  tanks were made available here.
