I spotted Alexandra Cassinati’s Surf Inspired Collection  at  Misscrew a while back , and had to feature her latest collection simply called summer #3 featuring  reversible neoprene swimwear , apparel and a limited edition of newsprint bags all made in the US. A closer look at Alexandra Cassinati Summer #3 on the next page.

To celebrate their 10 year anniversary  Nobody Denim launches the ‘Heritage’ collection’ where “Every jean is hand customised slowly, with constant review of the progress, creating truly unique and authentic garments. Including selvedges, made on traditional narrow looms and authentically dyed, unfinished cloths constructed honest to the heritage of jeans.” Every piece stands out as special and true to the essence of denim. I love the idea of the gold tone studs, at the waist although an exposed zipper in the back would have brought it the design to a higher level, this skirt is  perfect for the DIY challenged.  Taking a frill-less approach to luxury lingerie, we love  Matthias Jaschke’s of Wundervoll  ability  to design  sexy modern and very wearable pieces. A closer look at the Wundervoll Autumn/Winter 2009 Collection on the next page.

Barbara Bui has been creating her signature collection since the late eighties, with sharp accessories and apparel silhouettes that are always sleek and sexy . Nontheless I  find that she does not get a tremendous amount of press stateside compared to her contemporaries.  Although I’m not an advocate of saturating the market with a brand I wonder if a luxury label can afford to remain ‘quasi’ unknown with a young generation of consumers who would  embrace their product if they were exposed to it ?  On the next page the Barbara Bui   accessories collection for Autumn/Winter 2009.

A while back we featured the sneaker jewellery pieces Sabrina Dehoff created for the launch of the Nike Sporstwear Air max. The collection features 23ct Gold plated pieces  adorned with stones and engraving . An exquisite mix of high end  and street. Available in  spring 2010,  as we have no pricing info yet, I will for sure need these.
