Leah Mcsweeney of MTTM launches a new logo marking the evolution of the line: “We’re no longer just t-shirts and hoodies, the line is expanding and growing up, we wanted a new logo to emphasize that change. The new logo is sleek and more versatile, much like the direction the clothes are taking, while still keeping to its provocative, street style roots.”

With their second collection Nicole Lafave and Cherise Agnelle of Omelle are establishing as a true design force in the footwear industry with a collection featuring styles that are of course’ conversation pieces’, but also showcase true talent, innovation and good taste.
Inspired by ‘Favorite’ things, the Autumn/Winter’09 collection illustrates Nicole LaFave’s background in knitwear , featuring knits incorporated into the shoes and her fascination with pockets, combined with her graphic design background and paper envelope obsession. I would wear any of these styles. Available in late August , take a closer look at the Omelle Autumn/Winter 2009 collection on the next page.

Watching the runway of sneaker loving Kriza Robustella makes me dream of the day when we’ll see some of our fave women street wear labels, as part of fashion week and get some coverage in publications like Vogue. How cool would a Claw, MOB, Hellz or Made Me show would be? Our fashion media has a long way to go when it comes to having an open mind, when this relative newcomer’s collection makes it to Vogue Spain online and we have yet to see our labels get mention for their collections…
Nonetheless, Krizia Robustella Rocks! Her Autumn/Winter 2009 Collection titled ‘Eat -in or take away ‘ features great interpretations of what Krizia calls ‘Sport Deluxe’. Soft leather dresses, $ 9.99 belts, and a roasted chicken print sweater (right above), that I really taught was a modern paisley. Jeremy Scott watch out ! On the next page images of Krizia Robustella Autumn/ Winter 2009 and the video of her Spring 2009. Enjoy, I surely did!
