I cannot seem seem to get over over the knee boots. Zille Homma Hamid is an artist and fashion fashion designer with roots in Pakistan. Her  heritage is reflected in her collections with a lot of subtelty. Caftan -like shapes with a mix of muted colors reminiscent of a desert  with   flashes of bright hues . I find the silk pants above to be simply amazing!

Yiho Kim, Winner Most Creative

Jshoes and M.I.C.A.’s (Maryland Institute College of Art) half pair collaboration is a great contest that takes place every years  where students select 5 half pairs of jshoes  (single sample shoes that have no matches, used to develop the collections) to develop a piece that relates to the recession.  Check out the before and after pictures on the next page.

The students were instructed to use only the materials found on the shoes themselves and adhering products (thread, glue, etc.) Check out more  creations  on the next page.
