I cannot seem seem to get over over the knee boots. They provide a cool factor that I have yet to get tired of.  No 6 boutique will be launching an over the knee version of their signature clog boots this fall.  There’s a rustic , almost rugged quality to them that I like a lot .via style& racked.

Zille Homma Hamid is an artist and fashion fashion designer with roots in Pakistan. Her  heritage is reflected in her collections with a lot of subtelty. Caftan -like shapes with a mix of muted colors reminiscent of a desert  with   flashes of bright hues . I find the silk pants above to be simply amazing!

We recently attended the formal launch of  Farrah Dalaunay’s handbag Collection called Bambou , in NYC. We got to see the full assortment of shapes and colors artfully mixing Dalaunay’s heritage and her love of designer accesssories. This is definely a line to keep an eye on. The theme  for the MTV Movie awards this past Sunday had to be “ the  little dress” .Tinted with a sense of youth, playfulness and even simplicity. It’s like everyone looked their age . Leighton Meester, and Kristen Stewart’s were some of my favorites as they all had edge in their own way. Jshoes and M.I.C.A.’s (Maryland Institute College of Art) half pair collaboration is a great contest that takes place every years  where students select 5 half pairs of jshoes  (single sample shoes that have no matches, used to develop the collections) to develop a piece that relates to the recession.  Check out the before and after pictures on the next page.
