I’m curious to see if the Gap’s Khaki collections with Alexander Wang, Vena Cava and Albertus Swanepoel will  generate a line forming frenzy in their stores ?  One  step in the right direction as Khaki’s as a staple was  one of things they were known for. I can totally allow myself to time travel to the dreamy period Mr. Lagerfeld  took us to, for his Chanel  Cruise Collection for 2010 where modern staples like leggings for example,   are made to look  sophisticated while remaining true to the Icon that is  Chanel. Rihanna was recently spotted in New York, and gave a shout to kick-loving-chicks everywhere with her hightop Nikes. She’s also sporting the Schott X Jeremy Scott “Perfecto” jacket, whose graphic was inspired by-obvs–the wondrous Keith Haring (r.i.p.).  Ma looks great as always, but I when I look at her ‘doo, I can’t help but think of that classic Cam Diaz hair kerfluffle from “Something about Mary”!

Apropos of nothing to do with fashion (except that we like Kate’s style), I spotted this polaroid photo of Katy and Trav smooching at the Life Ball, which took place a couple days back in Vienna. Didn’t those two split up? I guess they’re in one of those on-again-off-again-soul-wrenching relationships. Like my sis once said about crazy relationships, you don’t get off the ride until it’s over! Amen, hermana.
