I love Go International and was intrigued with Target’s new take on designer partnerships. It’s a fresh approach. I was able to select a muse or source of creative inspiration to focus the collection around. The last target collabo I lost it for was Proenza Schouler and really the rest has been a blur, I can’t keep up. Let’s see how this one goes. Although the Gossip Girl inspiration cited in the article worries me a bit. Regardless Anna Sui rocks! What’s the next  one ? Balmain for Gap ? Balenciaga for Topshop ? or Prada for H&M…

Spring/Summer 2009 brought us lots of lovely little numbers from Love Brigade. The standout is for sure the Shard Slant Dress with its asymmetrical neckline, flirty color palette, and adorable usage of a ribbon bow. The print on the over sized collar keeps the dress looking edgy and the tight fit underneath is sexy as hell.  A similar style is available in black for those less aggressive with their style choices.

Interestingly enough the same woman Style.com  kinda bashed for her skimpy shorts, makes it into their red carpet  feature, while RhiRhi and her bold Dolce& Gabbana tux  did not… Looking radiant in their red dresses  Jessica Biel, and Amber Rose actually rocked, loved Timberlake’s new look too!  More on the flip. via Wire

I must admit that when word of the Olsen Twin’s high end line Elizabeth and James hit the fashion world I wasn’t too psyched on it. Images of their Walmart tween girls line in all it’s bedazzled, consumer friendly glory flew through my head. However, I have been continually surprised and amazed at what they have put out. The line is incredibly sophisticated and chic. They have just announced a collaboration with shoe giant Steve Madden that will hit stores in a few months. You will be able to pick the footwear up at Steve Madden, Intermix, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, and Neimen Marcus.

Although Neo2 describes these as swimsuits, we think  the term bodysuit would be more appropriate .The piece of clothing  from the 90’s has creeped itself back to our consciousness, making an obvious reference to  Lady gaga  but , we all know that the sexy futuristic award really  belongs to Grace Jones.
