When Nixon launched a few years ago , they had my attention due to their smart and fun approach to marketing, the skater vibe an the fact that their womens watche were not too dainty. Nonetheless I reverted to my snobby old school watch strandard and kind of forgot about them, until they released a highly exclusive and limited 42-20 at legendary women’s boutique, Henri Bendel. The 42-20 features a genuine white, stingray strap, a diamond encrusted bezel, sapphire crystal and a Swiss Made automatic movement. There are two limited 42-20’s available and on-sale now at the New York City Henri Bendel thru May 11.

If anyone ever wonders why RihRhi gets constant play on Highsnobette , it’s simple . After what Elle Uk, calls a Fashion-a-thon ( loved that at least they noticed) RhiRhi finally gets to relax in the all time, round the way girl look that always works: A hoodie ,jeans and sneakers. Proving that style has a very wide spectrum , and the same woman has the ability to go through all of them seamlessly : Sky high louboutins one day and kicks and a hoodie the next . luv it! via UR full view on the flip.

‘The fourth issue of Slow and Steady Wins the race is about heather grey sweats. The ubiquitous familiarity of the sweatshirt is reinterpreted in form using its main identities: the heather grey knit fleece, the ribbed edge, eyelet detail, and baggy comfortness’. Needless to say a heather gray sweatshirt gets me every time as the possibilities for interpretation are endless, and aside from jeans and fun sneakers , it’s a universal sportswear classic. The Grey Zipper Vest available at Oak. A closer view on the next page.

The circular top by Yukinori Maedda’s Cosmic Wonder Light Source collection. A modern approach to the simple tee, a one size fits all that can be worn several ways, luv!. Available at Stand up Comedy. Detailed view on the next page.

Hanna Sandin , designs the kind of jewelry that is understated, refined and modern at the same time. It’s the kind of piece that makes a sculptural statement without screaming. Available at Maryam Nassir Zadeh. On the next page a closer at Samma by Hanna Sandin.

Erykah Badu’s style choices are often interesting, but she totally heightened her game by wearing our beloved Manish Arora s/s ‘09 . I believe I’m accurate in saying this dress is his, since his designs often get simplified for retail. Pretty cool hey, Style.com watch out ! via wwd and wire. More views on the flip.

Aguri Sagimori’s Autumn/ winter 2009 collection can be described as dark edgy or even gothic. But what really caught my eye was the fact her clothes hold intricate details like lazer detailing, cut-outs and draping and tailoring that manage to not, make the models look like an avant-garde blob of fabric. via Jfw.
