While I was fishing around for those X-Girl New Balance shoes from the last post, I stumbled upon this what-appears-to-be velour, leopard print, coordinated short and hoodie set by X-Girl. And all I can say is OMFG, I am in LOVE!! If there there was an outfit that spoke to the inner me, this right now is it: equal parts sporty and trashy and yet keepin’ on eye at all times on the coordinated. I swoon.

Again, pardon my non-existent Japanese skills, but from what I can tell from Unbar, these are a New Balance, X-Girl, Atmos collabo. However, I checked on the Atmos site and I didn’t see them there. Then again, they launched on February 19 so they’ve probably long since evaporated.

Wait!! Late-breaking update, I see that they are available on the X-Girl site.

Please excuse my haziness on exact details for these kicks because I spotted them on the recently-launched Atmos Girls Tokyo site and my Japanese is totally rusty, well, actually, completely non-existent (and when I click on the “English” icon, the girls site disappears!). And yeah, yeah, I know the average U.S. sneaker connoisseur is more than a little over Jordan, but come on! You must agree that the bossness of this particular pair of shoes knows no borders. Stroll down the sidewalks of BK in these and people will despise you for months! If not years!

I just realized that the black and white dress I was puzzled by in the Heartless  video  is from Alexis Phifer’s Ghita Spring/ Summer 2009. The dress collection  features very frilly and girly pieces that I know some of you will love!  More via  Ghita.

Leave it to our beloved Patricia Field to make  Stephen Sprouse-inspired apparel  that is  fun, wearable and in Pat Fields fashion, utterly sexy!

Snoozer Loser is a Brooklyn based gem of a line filled with sweet little illustrations printed on cotton and silk tops. The collection is very whimsical, the pastel color palette and flowing, loose cuts create a dainty, almost innocent look. All of the prints are hand dyed and each and every garment is produced domestically. I’m always on the hunt for great clothes that come from a company with a conscience. It makes the guilt my bank account balance hands me a lot easier to take when I know the clothing is coming from a good place.

Insight is back with an eye catching new collection for the Spring lovingly called “Electric Pulse.” I love the laid back look of the whole line. A huge mixture of patterns was used, from plaids to florals and the color palette is all over the place. Insight did a great job with their separates but it’s the little dresses that feel right for the upcoming warm weather. Standouts include the “Oh Why” zip front denim piece and the “Hot in Here” mini-dress.

Surprisingly, Canadian line Dsquared² has yet to do a collection of sunglasses and they have just announced the arrival of their new effort for May of ‘09. The 16 designs for both men and women were inspired by 70’s American hip hop and are made by the infamous Italian eyewear producer, Marcolin. The campaign is just as white hot as the sunglasses themselves. Ace photographer Steven Meisel captured Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista basically beating the crap out of each other while looking stunningly beautiful in their high end accessories. Kudos to the boys for taking their time on this project and getting it right.

Taking advantage of the globality of the Internet many are creating exclusive products just for them,  like this  chain- print oversized tee by Givenchy exclusively for Luisaviaroma. For those of us who never got our hands on the extreme bling factor of their Fall ‘08 neck piece.
