Chloe sent their models down the runway in an array of beautiful shoes. Everything from booties that looked better suited for hiking than a fashion show, ballet flats in whimsical colors, and of course, these delectable pumps adorned with jewels and bows. I love the zipper up the back which helps to balance out the lady like, vintage quality. Shown also in black and a satin olive green.

Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2009 Ready to wear collection looked a lot more like Couture. With ghastly white faces, super plumped lips, and what appeared to be lampshades on the model’s heads the show had a serious amount of drama. Once you get past the over the top makeup and styling you will find a great deal of the line to be wearable.  Sometimes my favorite part of a show like McQueen’s is digging through all the looks to find pieces to pull and wear in the real world. It makes the garments feel all that much more special.

As much as I  love highly conceptual  design and fashion,  there are very few runway collections I  think one can get away with wearing head to toe in everyday life. That’s not the case for Edward  Meadham & Benjamin Kirchoff  of Meadham Kirchoff whose Spring/Summer’09 collection is one of the coolest spring collections from a wearable everyday standpoint.

The hardcore rock-n-roll  laced and frayed  denim pants contrasted  with  feminine  lace  shirts ,  provide the right balance of edginess and simplicity. This is one of the few collections that you can take as-is from the runway to the streets . Meadham Kirchoff  is totally HighSnobette approved!

These  hot babies got so much press before they even were for sale , that  Barneys is already sold out . Forever 21 of course  already knocked them off. But, nothing beats the real thing. Alexander Wang ’s Alexis fringe boot Available at Colette.

Some color combinations just work so well we cannot ignore them. The Neon Squiggle necklace  by Issy Salomon is one of those wow pieces that you’ll wear over and over again because it’s fun and dressy at the same time.  Available at  the one and only Charm & Chain.

Clearly we are seeing the rise from the ashes of the catsuit, an always controversial fashion classic. Still, a lot of websites are saying that Lil’ Kim, who’s been promoting her appearance on “Dancing with the Stars” like crazy, is wearing a catsuit in this image and I’m not so sure. It just might be a black blouse tucked into high-waisted leggings. Whatever it is, Kim looks just adorable and as cheery as I’ve seen her in a while.

While looking through the images on Style of the Chanel Autumn ready-to-wear ‘09 looks, I was sort of bored at first by the clothes so I started zeroing in on the accessories. And even then it was like, ehh shoes no big deal, bag inside a plastic container too weird for me, mint green color theme not doing it for me. I started perking up when I saw a leather skirt and then right after that, a leather dress!! A Chanel leather dress, people. Could you ever in your wildest dreams EVER image?? The dresses were followed by tribal catsuits, which, right there the  deal for me was sealed. I give it up to you Karl. Your evil genius has struck once again!

With shoes like these Lanvin metallic woven sandals, you don’t have to wear much else. They are, essentially, the oufit. Everything else functions as a backdrop to elevate their insanity.

I went into a panic yesterday because it appeared that Kanye showed up at YSL sans Amber, and me, being my usual, paranoid-over-reacting-self, decided it was ’cause Ye was over her snatching up his limelight. Well, turns out she was there….wearing a catsuit no less!! My question now is, does she have a stylist? Who is dressing her? I’m not saying the woman doesn’t have taste or flavor, but let’s face it, she’s wearing the hottest shizz in all the land and that stuff doesn’t all come together on a quick shopping spree to Neiman’s!

Motorcycle jackets have long been a fashion staple and in fact it seems like these days everyone and their mother owns one. I’m all in favor of this bright purple version from Kidrobot. With pink and white zippers and their super fun “Band of Toys” print lining it’s just what I need to stand out in a crowd of boring black leather motorcycle jackets. This piece is vegan friendly and limited edition so head over to Kidrobot quick, as I’m sure it won’t be around long.
