At Kim Kardashian’s blog, she breaks down her love for menswear and features herself wearing a Michelle Mason (above) vest that she’s particularly fond of. I like menswear, too, but to be honest, I don’t think this look works for everyone. Kim is small and with her super-womanly boobies this proportion works for her. For a tall, practically ta-ta-less person like myself, this vest would make me look masculine and I don’t know, just weird. Conversely, my legs are long so I could work men’s pants all.day.long, which might be a tougher look for Kim to pull off. So it goes, ya work with what god gave ya.
On another note, I haven’t tuned in to the new episodes of “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s,” but the recaps the girls do on her blog are pretty funny and there’s plenty of talk about their fashion choices, including a crack from Khloe on how her dress looks like it’s from Forever21!

I ‘ve always had a weakness for clothes that move as you walk, that provide a certain “entrance” making factor. Could it be the massive amounts of couture shows I watched as a kid ? The Obey Hot to Trot dress nearly stopped me in my tracks as the perfect entrance making summer dress , with a sophisticated street wear flair. It can go from cocktail party, dance floor to the beach, and for 46 bucks do not sleep! Available at 80spurple.

Rihanna made her first very public appearance since the incident, chowing down recently at DaSilvano, a known N.Y. paparaZzi hot spot. A night later she belatedly celebrated her birthday with Uncle Jay and Aunt Beyonce.
Those of us who love fashion down to our bones know that it’s so much more than just garments on bodies. For those that posess the key, it can be used to entertain, intrigue, send hidden messages, and sometimes, as in the images we’re seeing here, provide us refuge from the chaos.
More images after the fold, including a close-up on RihRih’s new pink tips and the sick patent leather boots she wore with the tweed jacket pictured above.

One post could not fit all the hotness that was Louis Vuitton’s ‘09 ready to wear runway show. Here you can take a detailed look at the shoes, bags, and accessories from the line. Over sized link necklaces, huge bunny ear ribbons, and of course, the signature Louis Vuitton handbags all rounded out the strong collection nicely. While basic black was prevalent, Marc Jacobs showed a lot of magenta, pink, and red as well. Studs and heavy hardware were seen in small doses on both the bags and jewelery keeping things looking young. Over the knee boots in paisley prints and clunky platforms with ballerina like bows will be sure to cause riots on the shopping scene.

Louis Vuitton’s Paris ready to wear show left many with their jaws hanging open. Marc Jacobs outdid himself with a sexy and seductive line inspired by the french “it” girls of the 1980’s. Each piece is a show stopper from the little lace dresses to the slouchy leather pants. The styling was perfection (bunny ears as headbands?!) and the accessories were to die for (those shoes!!). Enjoy!

Here is a look at the Holiday ‘09 collection by Stampd’ LA , created by Christopher Stamp. Luv the fact that Stampd’ had the sense to make a unisex collection allowing the ladies , who still have love for kicks to have a sleeker sneakers option that is not heavily branded :
“The new collection is driven by early 90’s American pop culture aesthetics while still referencing contemporary fabrics and stream-lined construction methods.”

Looking stunningly beautiful, Beyonce will be featured on the cover of the April edition of Vogue. Speaking out about weight and body image issues in their annual shape issue, Bee will not only flaunt her curves in couture but discuss them as well. I can NOT wait for this issue to hit my mailbox.

Multiple-finger rings are the hotness these days. This one is from the recently-launched Je M’aime line, a NY-based jewelry line. Super sexy, no? (Tho, not for nothing, wearing multiple finger rings is a trip–very bondage-y feeling!) Check out the JeM’aime line for more looks and price info.

Can’t lie, readers. I’ve been feeling real testy lately. It’s personal business, but everything got aggravated yesterday when Samia and I visited the Sigerson Morrison boutique in SoHo, where I discovered that even though 40 percent of the shoes and bags in the store seemed personally made for me, even the purchase of one pair of sandals (forget the bags, which were so beautiful I almost collapsed!) would 100 percent kick my bank account’s ASS. So I did what any smart woman does and went shopping on-line until I found a pair of shoes I could afford. You are seeing them in the above-pictured Marc by Marc Jacob flip-flops. Could there be a person that could look at them and not feel a little happier?
