M.O.B. designer Leah McSweeney pulled quite the slick crowd in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day at the Submercer Bar in SoHo last night.  Original fashion, cute guys (for once!), great music and a nice vibe…all the elements were in place.

Jewellery, The kind that lasts and can be passed on to juniors is  probably my favorite, as I’ve been able to own some pieces that were handed down way before I was around.

Bjørg’s jewellery line is that kind of keepsake special jewellery that reflects   nostalgia, tells  a story or is just a beautiful token of affection, like the  ”ab Imo Pectore” necklace tr. “from the bottom of my heart”( above) Aww….as I melt.

MOB Rules the World & Everything in it Since'82!

You know M.O.B. designer Leah McSweeney wasn’t gonna let this day pass without marking the occassion in some significant way. And so we have M.O.B.’s second set of spring offerings, which includes for the very first time, an official “Flight Dress,” which is too cute and really breaks new ground for MTTM.

The Onitsuka Tiger X Tokidoki collabo was as cute as always. The snow boots are a new addition to the line and they are an obvious must-have for Tokidoki lovers. The rest of the spring Onitsuka Tiger line was impressive as well, especially Onitsuka Tiger Mini Cooper collabo shoe, which impressively captures the zip and energy of the actual car.

(Though on another note, I swear any day now I’m gonna kick my camera’s ass. For some unknown reason we have never gotten along and I may just be going back to my older but much more dependable Canon.0

I still don’t know what the status is for Gwen Stefani’s LAMB label. Thankfully Heels, which has one of the biggest assortments of LAMB footwear I’ve seen,  we can still have access to beauties like the  Feisty .

There were so many good things about  Victoria Bartlett’s VPL Fall collection, it would take too long to express them all. So of course I decided to focus on the shoes, particularly the knee hi’s (above) made in collaboration with LD Tuttle. I had a chance to see them up close recently and I can say that these babies are a must have, as they combine comfort and style seamlessly. A closer look on the next page as well as my fave looks from VPL Autumn/ Winter 09.

Colette has brought us a few pieces from Jean-Charles De Castelbajac’s endearing collection titled  “J-C in the sky with Diamonds”.  A sequin dress, pumps, and two polo tees are blatantly inspired by childhood friend Mickey Mouse. The  shoes even come complete with the Disney character’s signature little black nose and tail, a conversation piece for sure!
