img 6433 cover Untitled 11:11 Autumn/Winter 2009

Untitled 11:11 presented their Autumn/Winter ‘09  collection last night at Pink Elephant in NYC. Inspired by Jill Lear  paintings , the collection  titled “Into the Woods” featured Laurel  and David’s  signature  draping and use of Eco -conscious materials.  The rich colors and silhouettes are feminine, classic  without being overly girly , allowing  the pieces to fit perfectly into the modern woman’s wardrobe. We’re totally smitten!

A closer look at Untitled 11:11 “Into the Woods” collection on the next page.

Highsnobette-mishka sneak preview 09

Highsnobette was lucky enough to get a little peak at what Mishka has in store for Autumn/ Winter 09. Above is the boogey man toy, a collabo between Mishka and The Cure. I am personally a big fan of the pink and purple dude on the left. We also got a look at a couple pairs of legging with Mishka’s signature eyeball print. The color combinations are hot and the material was super soft. The whole women’s collection was really on point and we will be sure to keep you updated as we get more from the Mishka boys.

Hit up the jump to check out some leggings from Mishka’s Autumn 09 collection.

rrcgbc cover Bijules NYC : The Rock Collection

Last  night Jules Kim of Bijules unveiled her Autumn/Winter ‘09 jewelry collection, titled: “The Rock Collection” Instruments Of Pixie Style. The setting was  dim lit a loft space, art gallery where the jewels were suspended in illuminated glass vases , allowing the guests to experience their supernatural  appeal .

The collection, in true Bijules style is sexy, innovative and of course proves again that Bijules,  is always way ahead of many of her contemporaries.

king of green street1 King of Greene Street NYC Opening
Yesterday we attended the opening of King of Greene Street. A multi-line boutique housed in the  fabulous landmark of the same name located on 72-76  Greene Street. The amazing space houses a wide variety of European and japanese labels: Genten,Yoshi Funabashi, Guillaume Hinfray, Chrissie Morris,  Ruthie Davis,  Antonio Marras, Miroike, to name a few…
Aside from the amazing assortment,  the minds behind the concept, Thomas Hong, being one of them, did a great job of preserving the essence of the space .  Creating  a shopping experience that is truly unique.
On the next page a sneak peak of what caught our eye.

M.O.B. at Magic!!

 mobmagic09 002 M.O.B. at Magic!!

Stopped by the Married to the Mob booth at Magic yesterday. While there were a LOT fewer brands repping compared with my last visit to Magic, Leah McSweeney and her crew were busy writing orders.  No recession at M.O.B.!  I suck ’cause I’m not sure who the person on the far left is, but in the middle is the great Lourdes and natch, boss lady McSweeney to her right. And though I couldn’t get a close up of fall 2009, on the next page theres a shot of the collection, which is another step up in design and offerings.  The sparkle jackets (far left), satin short-sleeved blouses (middle in bright blue) and printed wife beaters (far right) were my faves, but there’s a LOT to choose from.

p.s. All you Tokidoki nuts, I got tons of images and this time I was double-triple-quandroople-promised that I wouldn’t be ask to take them down post-posting!

cohen cover Expose NY : Ivonne Cohen

A great label we discovered at Expose NY was the Mexico based line of  beaded apparel by Ivonne Cohen.  All the beading is handmade ,the stones are real, allowing the pieces to stand on their own as true works of art.  A little bling never hurts.  Me gusta  mucho !
