Melissa Shoes!!

Melissa booties
Melissa has become a must-visit stop for me at trade shows. This is a company that’s taken a very well-worn concept and reenergized it with some very savvy collabos and careful distribution. Plus I have a now-no-longer-secret-vendor-crush on Melissa’s U.S. distributor, Charles Gepp, who is warm, charming and smart. As he said to me, “We’re not as dumb as we look” about some of the collabos and exclusive retail partnerships the company has made happen. They’re on the hunt now for a U.S. designer to collaborate with. Ya gotta hope they somehow snag Mr. Jacobs for it.
Several more styles on the other side, including three Vivianne Westwood collabos.
- Melissa Viv Westwood collabo. Look at the one third from the left. It has a tortoise shell affect.
- Melissa Viv Westwood collabo
- Melissa Viv Westwood collabo. I wasn’t nuts about these, but I’m told they look super adorable on and have been very popular.
- I LOVE these (and I have no idea who collaborated on them, but someone did).

But do they make your feet stink?
If your feet have stinkish tendencies, you might want to avoid. My feet personally always smell like a newly bloomed rose so not an ish for moi ; )
I remember the old Melissas
They were really big in the DMV area.
NO. The shoes themselves come smelling really good actually. But no they don’t make your feet stink any extra. They are REALLY comfortable.
