Expose NY: Serpico Autumn/Winter 2009

I just previewed the Autumn/Winter ‘09 collection from Serpico,at Expose NY . The label created by Melissa Serpico Kamhout. Based in Chicago , Serpico uses draping with a very architectural sensibility to create  a line that  is refined and intellectual .  The label’s aesthetic reminds me slightly  of our style conscious first lady, making “dressed-up”  look effortless, chic, sexy but never boring!
