L.A. based Seneca Rising allowed Highsnobette to preview their Fall/Winter 2009 line. It was filled with cozy cardigans and military inspired knits. The standout piece is a sweater that looks like a tuxedo jacket complete with tails only it’s material is soft and unstructured. The color palette featured some great neutrals mixed in with crimson reds, deep purples, and muted blues.

The Stussy/Hellz Bellz “Ladies First” collabo we mentioned on the site earlier this week is now live in Stussy Chapter stores. A handful of other streetwear retailers will carry pieces of it as well. Gotta give Stussy props for the smartness of this collabo–it youthens its brand up and enables Stussy to reach women to a degree that it would struggle to do on its own. Natch, rubbing shoulders with the all-time great Stussy is a lovely look for HellzBellz, too!
See additional tees, zip-ups, hoodies and even a tote bag after the flip.

Two years ago I was given a pair of Nit:Felt:Phrame arm warmers that pretty much never left me. The design is architectural and the knit, after countless washes, kept its shape and never pulled. Nit: Felt : Phrame , designed by Gail Travis ” Fosters the concept of transition and evolution. Each piece has the ability to link , layer, fold, snap, shift, or connect. Creating a platform for personal expression and creativity that is of the moment ,but timeless.” Those are the kind of pieces you will wear for very longtime. I’m totally smitten!

In my eyes Chloe Sevigny can do no wrong. One of my favorite actresses and style inspirations, I find her choices to be really courageous. Her latest collaboration with Opening Ceremony showed at London Fashion week and it’s no exception to Chloe’s eclectic aesthetic. The unisex line has teamed up with Bass to expand the collection from RTW to footwear, now including saddle shoe boots, gladiator style wedge sandals, and loafers. Expect lots of over-sized pieces good for layering including accessories, such as scarves, that had a large part on the overall look. The use of materials such as moleskin and tweed had a very Sherlock Holmes kind of feel to it. Prices start at just $95 and the collection will be available at Opening Ceremony, Colette, Dover Street Market, and Barneys.

Rescue Beauty Lounge is a chain of nail salons known for making cleanliness, as well as fun, a top priority. They have since expanded to a line a beauty products including, well obviously, nail polish. Known for their loud and fashion forward colors, I am always excited to see what they will dig up next. This Spring they have added three new glittery shades, all with a hint of purple, “this season’s it color”. “Frugalist” is gunmetal grey and silver mixed with purple glitter,my favorite of the three. The gold shade is “Look Rich, Be Cheap” and “Locavore” is a bold mix green, gold, blue, and purple. Now available for pre-order.

RavinStyle has just announced the arrival of Masacva Spring/Summer 2009. The collection is filled with crisp white, blush pink and gold accents. The piece above, a little hooded cotton dress with banded gold ribbon drop waste and kangaroo pockets is a show stopper. Be sure to check out the “Eyecandy” shift dress available in both black and white, as well as the “Darlin” short. The whole collection has that effortless vibe to it while remaining chic and pulled together, something I’m always in search of for the warmer seasons. Who wants to be inside stressing about an outfit while the sun is shining inside? Not me! This line is perfect for the grab and go days of summer.
