HighSnobette was recently invited to the gorgeous city of Stockholm, to preview and trial the new Nike Womens autumn running and training line. All last week I (being HS’s rep in London, Amina Kahn) covered the event on Twitter and Instagram, including the launch presentations of the LunarGlide+ 5 along with the Nike Free Bionic Training shoe (above), which helped us survive the Nike Training Club bootcamp.

Without going into technical details (and there are many), I very much LOVED the LunarGlide+ 5 to the point where I must say it is the best running shoe I’ve ever put my feet in. The shoes are so light you forget you have anything on your feet apart from clouds. Our verdict? Expect to see this shoe everywhere from the gym to the streets to the office. The style is sleek, lightweight and versatile.

Up next the Free Bionic training shoe, which wore through a 45 minute intense workout (okay the view from the pier surrounded by Swedish hills and greenery helped with the pain) which pushed us to our limit. The Free Bionic is for the hardcore workout so some it’s built to be light but also provide grip and support. The design is beautiful, too, and the instant positive reaction to it on Instagram speaks to its good looks. A quick note on the Nike Dri-Fit apparel, including the new “Warp” knits, why wear anything else?

For the presentation of it’s Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, Urban Outfitters for the first time produced a video look book showcasing the latest trends for the upcoming cold season. Although we just got ready for the summer, loading our wardrobes with silken skirts and neon swim suits, Urban Outfitters managed to whet our appetite for autumnal colors that are worked into knee-length skirts (that are just by the way worn without tights this year) and african-inspired shirts.

The video gives you an idea of what to expect this winter and highlights some colors and patterns without revealing the full collection. Stay tuned for the full look book.

We are so excited to present Butch Diva’s Summer 2013 lookbook including the label’s first official video presentation on a collection. Do you remember when we first introduced the ‘Fringe’ bag by Berlin-based label SLOE? Since the newcomer label for modern, timeless fashion and high-end accessories made their way through the thick fashion forest in Germany, designer Antonia Siegmund and Creative Director Mathias Last now present a more than lovely full collection for 2013/14.

Wide cuttings and straight shapes in pastel colors such as the striped Marlene pant contrast with dark colors and strong materials, as used for the androgyn bomber jackets with leather details. With the collection the brand manages to complete the timeless look of their much sought after leather bags and accessories and assures the perfect all over look.

Antonia Siegmund says:
