I popped by the ColetteXGap store earlier today to see what all the hype was about. There wasn't tons of people in there--as you can see from the images--but the people who were there all seemed fairly fashionable. The space was smaller than I expected, as was the number of product offerings, but I'm guessing this is a quality over quantity situation. As well, there isn't much there that's cheap and some things, like a $24 bottle of blue nail polish, caused me some to mentally reach for my heart Frand-Sanford style. But oh well, it's Colette so it's worth it, right?

So what's left? I'm told that certain things like the Longchamp bags are sold out and will NOT be returning. There's less certainty about other items. For example, the Claw collabo tee was there and is now gone (sob!), but the women working the register weren't positive if those would be restocked. They said there was a new shipment coming that evening, but they had no idea what it would include. And while it was quiet there on a Wednesday evening, no doubt it will get quite packed on the weekend. One employee told me that on the first day when she arrived there was a line around the block and it was still there when she left not long before closing.

This Tom Binns cuff is clearly possessed, simply and truely wicked, and any woman who wears it will discover dark powers previously unknown to her.

A couple of years after college,grad school, your social circle starts  to get married,shack up and of course have babies.On such occasions comes the unevitable baby showers and  the hunt for a suitable offering.I have  to be honest and confess that I have been appaled by the tackyness and overly cuteness of what's out there,more apparent  when it's daddy's time to take the little one, it's a flowery contraption that just  kills the sexy and  any fashion sense mommy and daddy might have but, things are changing!

Henrik Vibskov one of my  designer loves from Denmark partners with Quinny to create baby gear that allows you keep your style while you  take on the urban jungle with your little one...

As if we were not the Multitaskers Extraordinaire of the world most Tech-companies seem to mostly target men when  creating  gadgets,The folks at Jawbone seem to have realized that we are the ones who mostly talk on the phone,while doing about three other different things...whether at home work , school or in transit we rarely are just sitting chatting...

The design is sleek ,you know most of those headsets look Crazy...and for $130 bucks that could make our lives soo much easier...

I think they got me....

While I have had it up to here with silhouettes of woodland creatures and birds used as a design feature, I fell in immediate love with this ice cream bar necklace, made for Nylon magazine by Lucas Design. There's a lot of factors tugging at my heartstrings, starting with my longterm love affair with ice cream (and it helps that it's finally starting to feel like ice cream season in New York), add in the purple sparkle and I'm reeled in hook, line and sinker!

This necklace and some others will be available for $50 a pop on 06/01 at Fred Segal, Karmaloop, and UrbanOutfitters, but there's not gonna be endless quantities so get 'em before they melt!

Here we present you the latest collaboration by Atmos with G-Shock. Once again they worked on the DW-5600. This time it comes in white and features a blue dial with red polka dots. It comes wrapped in a matching box in red/blue.
