I spotted this Sally Hansen nail art pens (strangely not yet on the website) ad in Glamour yesterday. Nail art is one of my biggest obsessions so I would love to believe that I could create the art used in the illustration, but I know better. And I say that as someone who can do a pretty perfect manicure. Still, they might be worth a try just 'cuz dealing with the language barrier at most nail salons is quite the difficult mountain to climb when it comes to collaborating on designs that are even slightly off the beaten path.

^^See the little pens there in the lower left. That's what they look like. The catch is that they're water-based so while you can remove mistakes, they have to be set with a final coat or you'll have a big sloppy, mess on your hands.

A couple of days ago we mentionned that fringes are popping up on accessories here in there this fall . I saw one of these Susan Farber bags in Elle from  January(already!). I have to admit that the idea of fringes sashaying with me as I stroll can be fun.But, on a clumsy day ,getting caught in the train doors .. oooh I know I'm going to far,but  you know what I mean.Regarless,the Mezzo is pretty cool

There's a bunch of delish new items at Oak (though I'm torn by the studded mocassins<---what??), in particular the offerings from Cavern. Take a look at these neat-o leggings, which are grown-up without being soccer-mom-from-the-80s-ish, i.e. they're sexy as all get out.

Congrats Ladies!!!

The Rodarte collection as shown at NY Fashion week had my heart soaring last week and I did a post featuring some backstage photography, which can be found here. I meant to post some images from the show but got a little busy. Yes, I'm late, but the show is deserving.

^^The only issue being that there are few that have the presence of personality to pull off wearing this.

I'm always shopping...I get into the habit of browsing and  to me it's just fun,sales people are really nice if you're not  condescending to them, and you learn interesting things...One of them as told by a  handsome sales guy was the amazing sexy power of a woman in strappy sandals, according to him the heat  factor increases as the straps tie higher around the leg but, very few men will admit to it...I guess it is not a coincidence that Azzedine Alaia  named these "Whips"..available at Browns.

For the times when a nail just needs a little filing....
