When lois rocked a pair of sandals from Irregular Choice a couple of weeks ago I realize that I had not looked at this label for a while..
Visiting the store yesterday I was pleasantly surprised at the choices available,although their concept and presentation veers towards quirky and super creative(they partner with Heatherette sometimes) I find that they are more avant-garde and modern in their use of shape and color..
the overall quirkiness can sometimes turn a more sleek consumer off...while the styles ,if they were by so and so designer would habe been on every mainstream fashionistas must have list...ahhh...The power of name...

I saw these yesterday and I realised that My trusty shower flipflops as comfy as they are are not the most polished and stylish things on the planet..These Lancio Sandals by Puma's Black Label combine the ease of something you can slide into with style...
The sleekest option to a sneaker I Have seen in a long time the Ferro Rete and it has no pink in it...Definitely got me..

Yesterday on my way home the straps of my favorite ankle tie sandals broke off..after 3years of pounding the summer pavement ,my made in India treasure gave way... Looking at these Bahia elastic sock sandals ,by Cocobelle I could imagine how walking in sandals would be even more pleasant...although in NYC i'm starting to reconsider..there seems to be an overwhelmimg amount of broken glass on sidewalks lately....
Love the modernity and the sleekness of these it shows style without screaming it..

Ce Ce Chen, founder and designer for 80%20 (inspired by the theory that 20 percent of wardrobe is worn 80 percent of the time) is one of those females that's beloved around these parts. She's smart, creative, a total go-getter, not to mention a cutie from the inside out. She was showing her fall 2008 line at FFANY and here are some of the highlights (she didn't show her riding boot style 'cause it's already sold out!):

You guys know how I feel about my designer footwear...from what I've seen of the line I can say that for a first run the finishing on the shoes is pretty cool !As for their inspiration ....From what I have seen in the footwear industry it seems to be all fair game...
If anything one can say is that just like heatherette's founders the shoes are definitely Fun and totally Fierce...They do kicks too!Pictures to come later today..
