UK based girls streetwear label Not Bad For A Girl (NBFG) has just released their Holiday 2007 collection, which consists of t-shirts, crewneck sweaters and zip-up hoodies. In terms of brand building we see quite some similarities between NBFG and Married To The Mob. Lots of the designs are brand name based and centered around their key graphics. The outcome of this strategy is that the brands build strong brands around their clothing and immediate recognizability.

Here a little announcement about the upcoming exhibition "Highmath" being presented during the next Berlin Fashion Week in January 2008.

The art magazine Arkitip is curating its first exhibition in Germany and as the first external source ever, Wood Wood will design a whole issue of the magazine, which will serve as the exhibition catalog.

The "Highmath" exhibition will be shown from 31st of January till 21st of February 2008 and feature works of Andrew Schoultz, Chris Lindig, Ed Templeton, Evan Hecox, Cody Hudson, CR Stecyk III, Eric Elms, Gary Benzel, Geoff McFetridge, Jo Jackson, José Parla, Josh Petherick, Kaws, Killpixie, Michael Leon, Kevin Lyons, Michael Perry, Parra, Phil Frost, Perks, Peter Beste, Peter Sutherland, Richard Colman, Ryan Waller, Shepard Fairey, Todd  St. John and Steve Harrington.

Both the exhibition and the upcoming Arkitip x WoodWood issue are certainly something to look out for!

Super Sunglasses was the up and coming brand this passed summer. In matter of no time they had conquered the best boutiques around the globe and presented the famous Ray Ban Wayfarer model in pretty much every colorway that one could imagine.

Caliroots received the latest series of sunglasses by the Italian brand. Not only do they present strong two-color models of their classic, they also introduce the Eazy frame, which was first introduced with the Caliroots collaboration a while back. The Eazy Frame comes in three solid colorways. Of course each model kept the gold logo tag on the inside, with no logos on the outside.

LA based jewelry company Chrome Hearts and Comme des Garcons got together for a small collaborative collection. The collection consists of jewelry, shirts and t-shirts. Designed by Rei Kawakubo and Chrome Hearts the collection is now available at Dover Street Market.

BANKROBBER GALLERY, London, in collaboration with VANINA HOLASEK GALLERY, are pleased to present for the first time in New York, an exhibition of works by Banksy, on view from December 2nd through December 29th, 2007.

Just in time for the Christmas Season, Dover Street Market London is launching Sparkling Party, a range of special products. Among them also the Comme des Garcons x Kaws collaboration products, that recently launched at Colette. There are also special pieces by Chrome Hearts in the line-up and of the Comme des Garcons "Play" Collection.

Kaws also decorated Dover Street Market with similar artwork that you see on the goods of their collaboration. Furthermore Dover Street Market will release the Gap (Product) Red collection on December 1rst. The collection includes designs from Giles Deacon, ck Calvin Klein, Mulberry, Charlotte Tilbury, Pierre Hardy, Katie Hillier, Proenza Schouler and Henry Holland. Pic via Kaws.

Incase has released their protective cover for the iPhone in more colors, actually the CMYK pack. These cases represent the four standard process colors referred to as CMYK or Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black. In print, these fundamental elements work together in creating the full spectrum of color.

The Incase covers proofed to be some of the most useful and least disturbing ones. Now you finally have some more fun colors in there as well.

We already reported about the new Alife NYC x Reebok Court Victory Pump's, coming this time in black and pink. What we did not know is, that they also come in womens sizes this time (4.5 - 13). Also they of course have a limited edition t-shirt coming along with the sneakers.

The Ball Out will be released this coming Saturday, December 1rst, at all Alife locations and Patta, Colette, Black Chamber, Dream. The t-shirts will only be available at Alife locations.

The Ray Ban classic has celebrated a strong comeback this past year. Other brands were inspired by the style and create new, more exciting styles based on the alltime favorite Wayfairer model. Karen Walker presents the Deep Freeze as part of her collection. They come in a bright blue with dark gun. We also like the arrow logo on the sunglasses. These are now available at Gargyle.

Married To The MOB have released their Holiday 2007 collection today. The photoshoot was done this time with Mega, after the Fall collection was presented by French artist Fafi. The new collection consists once again of mainly t-shirts and also one fresh new hoodie.

We like what we are seeing, but would like to see the line grow to more pieces and styles, beyond t-shirts and hoodies. Hopefully that will happen by next year. For now check out the new collection after the jump.

We have seen lots of merchandise with the Colette mascots in the past including clothing, bags, Bearbricks and now they bring the Caperino & Peperone Candle Set. The box set consists of overall 3 candles - Stromboli, Paris and Tokyo.

Just last week the Nike x Claw Money Vandal Hi's were launched in London. Blink Gallery was transformed into Claw Money Land. Not only the sneakers were on showcase, but also Claw Money clothing, the book and a lot more. Also they made especially for the event t-shirts, as well as bicycle water bottles and Claw Money cupcakes!

It turned out to be a very successful event with lots of people coming through. In case you did not make it, we give you a tour through the gallery after the jump.

MadeMe is one of the youngest womens brands to enter the market. The current Fall/Winter 2007 season was their first and they have already had quite some impact. The brand offers an innovative mix of streetwear and high end fashion, something that was clearly missing in the market.

The Spring 2008 collection is also looking very strong. We can only show you a few pieces so far, but they can already tell that there are good things to come. While we like to put MadeMe from the start in the same category as MOB and Hellz Bellz, all three brands have their very own distinct style.

Through illicit graphics & progressive designs, Hellz Bellz continues to personify female empowerment and individuality, while defying all rules of conformity. This doesn't fall short in their Holiday 2007 collection, set to drop in stores any day now.

With military/mod inspired silhouette's from the early '60's british punk era, the collection works within a strict palette of black, white, red, and military green. With references rooted in sound, ranging from The Clash and Sex Pistols all the way to Roxanne Shante, all of which were an inspiration to each piece. Also Kate Moss finds her way back into the collection.
