INSA featured this Estelle video on his site recently because it features his shoes (at .16 and .23), but forget all that, who is the light-skinned cutie she falls in love with?? Wow. Borderline too cute. And there’s Nas, too, who seems to be 100 percent over his divorce and is as thuggy handsome as ever.

The black on white mani trend keeps rolling and I’m still deeply in love with it! This set is featured on Arabella, according to INSA’s blog, and she’s also sporting an INSA tee.

Paper magazine just put up on feature with 12 creative women, who get a chance to explore their masculine side by dressing up as guys in a feature called “She’s Got Balls.” The transformation are pretty good, in a million years you’d never guess some of them. One of the best parts though are their quotes on the experience. Said Charlotte Ronson, transformed above, “I just had to stand there and be serious and not smile, and I’m very good at that.” So true that about men and seriousness! Two more after the flip. There was some teeter-tottering on my part as to whether or not to feature these shoes designed by Anastasia Radevich, as I’m taking a little vacation from overly sculpted and conceptual shoe looks, but there was something so bittersweetly appealing about the upper, especially the blue light against the black boot, that I couldn’t resist. Tim Gunn’s book, “Gunn’s Golden Rules: Life’s Little Lessons For Making It Work,” is getting lots of attention for his call-outs on Anna Wintour and Isaac Mizrahi, among others. On La Diabla, Gunn says, “It’s insane that people don’t call her out on the things she does. Is it fear? I was certainly afraid of her. When her office called me, I thought I’d have to go into the witness protection program.” So not shocked by that, but the comments on Mizrahi– “Oh, please, I was so kind to him. I mean, I wouldn’t have the words to describe some of the more abhorrent behavior. He really is a terrible, terrible, terrible person”–were a surprise since a friend of mine dated Mizrahi for a minute and never mentioned any nightmarish behavior. He even goes in on his Mom and Dad! All eyes in the fashion industry are going to be on “Black Swan,” a suspense film featuring Queen Amidala, thanks to Rodarte’s participation as costume designer. The red carpet at the Venice premiere yesterday didn’t disappoint (Waaah–why can’t  Hollywood events be like this??), and as lovely as Portman’s red Rodarte gown was, she had lots of worthy competition, including and especially the lux white gown worn by Delfina Fendi featured above.
